Dr. Pamela Maxson, PCC, is an executive coach, trainer, facilitator, and lifelong learner who believes every individual has unique, untapped potential to leverage toward the realization of his or her own personal and professional goals.

She facilitates an individual’s understanding of his or her leadership style, maximizing leadership potential, goal and priority setting amidst multiple competing priorities, strength building, communication, work-life integration, and personnel development and management.

She partners with individuals and groups to develop their best professional and personal lives, discover and leverage their strengths, align their goals and activities with their values, manage competing priorities, engage in self-care, and more. Pam recognizes that we are whole people, living whole lives, not compartmentalized pieces.

Pam partners with clients to create scaffolding which allows them to optimize and build the career and life they envision. Her years of teaching and guiding have provided Pam with the ability to help clients notice their own stories and beliefs which may hold them back from their desired success.

Pam earned her PhD in Human Development, enabling her to give clients a life perspective, embedding decisions and situations in a broader view.  She has taught in higher education for over 25 years and has been in organizational leadership for over 15 years.

Pam is certified in authentic leadership and business coaching as well as a credentialed (PCC) member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She applies leading concepts and theories from the fields of psychology, neuroscience and leadership to as she partners with clients to establish and meet their goals toward professional and personal success

Pam has worked with a plethora of companies in multiple industries, including Google, Accenture, Boeing, NASA, Caterpillar, Genentech, Salesforce, Credit Karma, and multiple higher education institutions such as Duke University, University of North Carolina, Rice University, and University of Texas. She has worked closely with the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners and the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses in leadership training for advanced practice providers .
